A few things families often ask before getting started.

What kind of service does Legacara actually provide?
Legacara offers three types of support: memory preservation workshops, administrative document organisation, and educational succession literacy programmes. None of our services constitutes legal or financial advice. We are an educational and administrative organisation.
Do I need any documents ready before attending?
Not at all. The Estate Records Organisation Toolkit begins with an inventory step — we help you identify and gather relevant papers as part of the process. For the storytelling workshop, the only thing you need is a willingness to share.
How long does each programme take?
The Legacy Storytelling Workshop runs as a single half-day session. The Records Organisation Toolkit typically involves two to three working sessions over two to four weeks. The Succession Literacy & Facilitation Programme is spread across several weeks with group meetings and self-directed workbook time.
Are sessions held in person in Bangkok?
Our main base is in Lumphini, Bangkok. Workshops and working sessions are primarily in person, though we can discuss remote options for certain parts of a programme if a family member is based outside the city.
What happens to any documents I bring to a session?
All originals stay with you. We do not retain, copy, or store personal documents. Our role is to help you organise your own materials into a clear structure you maintain yourself.
Can the services be combined?
Yes. Many families find it natural to work through the storytelling workshop first, then move to records organisation, and later join the facilitation programme when they are ready to discuss wider succession topics. We can discuss a sequence that works for your family.
